The short answer is yes. Many people use their REHEARSAL studio to record. Depending on your neighbors playing schedule and time of day it is always a possibility to record. My thoughts are: if you come to the facility 50 times to record and have success 40 times I would consider this a success. If you come to the facility 50 times to record and you are successful 10 then you have two choices. 1) move rooms to neighbors that will give you more success 2) you can vacate. It’s a month to month lease. It is easiest to record during the day during the week. Long Island City: Take the 7 train to the 33rd street Rawson.

At Empire Rehearsal studios you have 24/7 access to our elevators. These are freight elevators, they are old and sensitive, so we need to operate them with a knowing and loving touch.
A. Be safe and use your head.
B. All of the following are not allowed and will result in loss of security deposit (see question #2) and or termination of rental contract.
I. Alcohol and any other drug usage occurring on the premises
II. Vandalism or any other damage to the premises
III. Any use of violence on the premises
IV. Use of the premises for anything other than rehearsal and recording of music
V. Non-payment of rent and late fees or any other fees incurred by client
VI .If client fails to insure that all doors are closed at all times
